The 4th of December we celebrated the foundation of Valldaura, 852 years ago, by the Cister Monks. For such a commemoration we designed an event in four acts:
First act
The Path: We met at the Mundet Metro station, and we gave 100 trees to 100 Iaac students, so they could carry it on their backs through the walking path to Valldaura.
Second act
Forest Garden: The first Forest Garden was planted in Valldaura, and every tree was given a name together with the name of the person who planted it.
Third act
Visit to the research center and presentation of the Energrid node
Fourth act
Barbecue around a 3 meter wide bonfire. Lamb, calçots, sweet potatoes and chestnuts in stone dishes and wine.
