On Sunday Oscar Tomico and Marina Castán visited Valldaura.
Tomico is directing research study «Close to the Body», within the framework of the Master in Advanced Interaction of IAAC. As part of the site visit, Castán and Tomico did a survey and an analysis of the environment and its possibilities – as they plan to develop the research study within the environment here in Valldaura.
Oscar Tomico is also Assistant Professor of Designing Quality in Interaction Research Group in the Department of Industrial Design of the Eindhoven University of Technology, and many of his works contemplate the figure of the individual or the society’s role in the process of designing, creating and construction.
Marina Castán a is professor and researcher at ESDI, and focuses her efforts on design and technological tissues and fabrics. Her research considers the man as an important figure within the space of knowledge.
