On the west side of the house the ground is quite clayey. The interns decided to work on that earth, extract it, to give it a future use. Essentially, they make piles out of it and then smash and crush it, making it thinner and dustier, unpacking it. Once done, all the stones and inpurities of the ground are taken out of it, leaving the remaining quite clean.

With a wheelbarrow, they then carry the clean clayey to small tanks filled with water. With that, they create a mix with which, together with sand or straw, they will create a mortar. They will be using that material later on to cover the toilets and solar shower.
