During the next week, both the dry toilets and the solar showers will be built and installed. That is why Oscar Gussinyer and Pepe Valls, from Coop 33, came to build the bases and structure that will be housing both such showers and toilets. There was a great amount of work to be done before they could be placed!
First, the area were the structure was going to be build was infested by weed, bushes and almond trees, and was therefore cleared and flattened for our different future use.
Later on, a higher terrace was built. The main idea is to, thanks to gravity, use the water from the showers to create a pond, with flora and fauna (and even a few ducks!), water that has been filtered beforehand through a reedbed.
All of that, without taking into account the structures themselves!
