Pierre Giorgio Olivetti, president of Slow Cities, has been invited by the IAAC, to give a conference on Slow Cities (Cittaslow), and the philosophy behind the idea.
While in Barcelona, Olivetti has visited Valldaura, thus marking the beginning and the foundation of a link between Valldaura and the Slow City Foundation. Olivetti was supportive with the whole initiative, and finally decided to become part of the scientific committee of Valldaura.
