We visited Marc Boada at Can Verdager, his home in Monseny. This fall 2011, in honor of the International Year of the Forests, along with his wife Moira and his son, they have ignited a charcoal pile following the traditional method for charcoal production.
During the week of October 24, they let it cook until November 4, and a few weeks later they will be able to extract the charcoal from the pile.
